Vice-presidential candidate Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. formally requested COMELEC for allowing his team of IT (information technology) experts and programmers for conducting an audit on the transparency server and the central server under the close supervision of the commission and its technical staff.

The senator requested for the audit to be done within three days from receipt of the letter.
According to Jonathan Dela Cruz, spokesperson of Marcos, “Ang sinasabi namin dito, hanapin natin ang katotoohanan. Hindi lang namin hinahamon ang Comelec, Smartmatic, kundi ang buong publiko,” Dela Cruz said.
Marcos camp expressing that they are only after the truth, “In view of these doubts and questions, and the admitted tampering of the transparency server including the breach of protocols” Marcos said in his letter.
Just recently, Leni Robredo told the media that she was open for system audit proposed by Marcos, “Wala naman akong pagkontra sa system audit. Ako sang-ayon ako dyan. Sang-ayon ako na may system audit para maalis yung lahat ng duda tungkol sa integridad ng proseso ng eleksyon,” Robredo said.
